Abstract
With reference to the construction control of 270m and 190m continuous rigid frame spans of Humen Bridge and Zhenhaiwan Bridge, this paper presents the analysis of the causes of deflection deformation of box girders in construction of longspan continuous rigid frame bridges, necessity, methods, accuracy, some effective measures and results of the monitoring. The successful closure of the two bridges with high accuracy proves that the method for monitoring of the girder deformation is effective. The experiences of the bridges can be of reference to the construction of other similar kind of longspan bridges.
