Abstract
Hu Shi has advocated not using allusion during the New Literature Revolution,he did not refuse using allusion but criticised the inappropriate use of allusion,and he accepted using allusion relevantly.As the treasure of human culture,allusion is not only transitory but also eternal,whether one could grasp this two natures of allusion,determined his ability in using allusion.
