Study on high risk behaviors among MSM in small and medium city

Objective To understand the high risk behaviors among men who have sex with men(MSM) in small and medium sized city. Methods Convenience sampling and snowball sampling were used to select respondents;questionnaire was used during the research. Results In recent 6 months,67.34 percent of 191 respondents have more than three sexual partners,the rate of anus sex or oral sex are 74.87% or 69.63% respectively,the rate of condom using was lower than 10% in anus sex,no one had ever used condoms in oral sex.52.11% were at marriage or divorce,37.7% had ever sex with female.Illness of anus or genitalia had ever been developed among 45.03 per cent of all the respondents,of whom,9.03% had ever gone to public medical institutes. Conclusion The condition that HIV has been prevalent highly among MSM and spreading to general population is possible,so intervention on AIDS among MSM in small and medium sized city is needy urgently.
