Abstract

Objective:To study the microsurgery resection by sinus meningioma of minimally invasive treatment methods, improve the effect of surgical treatment.Methods:38 cases of sinus meningioma in the hospital from February 2005 to February 2009 were divided into treatment group 20 cases, gived patients microsurgical treatment,The control group 18 cases, gived line subtotal resection operation, with postoperative radiotherapy.Above all patients were retrospectively analyzed the clinical data and surgical treatment experience. Results:The treatment group in 38 patients,Ⅰresection level 7 cases(35.0%);Ⅱ level resection 8 cases(40.0%);Ⅲ resection level in 5 cases(25.0%).No death number.Postoperative headache all disappear,15 cases of the limbs feeling or activities or recover barriers improved obviously. The average follow-up period was 4.7 years, six patients relapse. The 18 cases of control group,Ⅰ level resection in 5 patients(27.7%);Ⅱ level resection was performed in 7 patients(38.8%);Ⅲlevel resection 6 cases(33.3%).No death number. Conclusion:Consummate meticulous micromanipulation, sufficient preoperative imaging evaluation, appropriate surgical approach, effective control of intraoperative bleeding, protect sagittal sinus, avoid to brain cortex, the central ditch vein and other drainage vein damaged, which can obviously increase the tumor excision rate and decrease the recurrence rate and other disease incidence of complications.
