Relationship between Blood Homocysteine and Blood lipid in patients with coronary heart disease

Abstract

Object To investigate the relationship between seroeym level of homocysteine(Hcy) and lipid in parients with hypertension.Methods The fasting plasma total HCY,TG,TC,HDL-C,LDL-C and Lp(a) of 79 cases with affirmed CHD and 30 age and gender matched controls were determimed respectively.Statistical analysis was done to all measured parameters.Results The serum levels of all these parame cantly higher in the patients with CHD than those in the controls.In CHD group,HCY level was significantly related to Lp(a) level.Conclusion HCY is a coronary disease's independent factor.HCY and the blood fats both union examination is helpful to coronary disease patient's diagnosis and the prevention.
