Abstract
【Objective】To study serum homocysteine (Hcy) levels of coronary heart disease (CHD) patients and normal persons and serum Hcy levels of the different clinical forms of coronary heart disease patients; To explore the relationship between coronary heart disease and Hcy and the relationship among age, blood glucose, blood lipid and myocardial enzymes in patients with coronary heart disease; To explore the relationship between the traditional risk factors and Hcy. 【Methods】55 CHD patients and 30 cases of control group were tested of serum Hcy level by automatic biochemical analyzer using recycled enzymatic method, serum glucose, blood lipids and myocardial enzymes were assayed simultaneously. 【Results】①serum Hcy levels in CHD patients were significantly higher than the healthy control group (P 0.05); ② serum Hcy levels in unstable angina pectoris, stable angina pectoris group and acute myocardial infarction were significantly different (P 0.05); ③Hcy levels in smokers and non-smokers with coronary heart disease showed no significant difference P 0.05); ④ Hcy levels of cardiac function class Ⅰ grade, Ⅱ grade, Ⅲ grade in patients with CHD showed no significant difference (P 0.05); ⑤ Hcy and APOA1, Mb, APOB were relevant. Correlation coefficients are: -0.570, -0.418, 0.299; ⑥with Hcy was the dependent vari- able, the other variables of the equation are Hcy and age. OR values are 21.2 and 10.8, respectively (P 0.05). 【Conclusions】Hcy is a significant risk factor for CHD, and detection of blood Hcy has important clinical value on the prevention and treatment of CHD.
