Abstract

Objective:Under the guidance of clinical research of acupuncture laws,to investigate the impact on motor function of stroke patients with hemiplegia at the stage of Brunnstrom Ⅱ or Ⅲ by the treatment of the corresponds and the central axis acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training, and to compare to the treatment of the traditional acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training and the simple rehabilitation training. Methods:Ninety patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided randomly into three groups, namely the corresponds and central axis acupuncture group(treatment group),the traditional acupuncture group(control group 1) and simple rehabilitation group(control group 2).Thirty patients in the treatment group were treated by the corresponds and central axis acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training,Thirty patients in the control group 1 were treated by the traditional acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training, thirty patients in the control group 2 were treated by rehabilitation training.Fugl-Meyer score were assessed pre-therapy,2 weeks and 4 weeks after the treatment in all of the 90 patients. Results:FM upper extremity,FM lower extremity and FM total cents showed improvement in treatment group and control group 1 after the treatment, which had statistical significance(P0.01).Only FM total cents showed improvement in control group 2 after the treatment, which had statistical significance(P0.05).The difference among the three groups had statistical significance(P 0.01).Conclusion:The treatments of three groups can improve motor function of hemiplegic patients, and if they are combined with acupuncture, the effect woll be better.
