Abstract
Various reactive emulsifiers are used for polymerization of styrene/acrylic microsoap-containing emulsion. The influence of polymerization approaches, structures and amount of reactive emulsifiers on emulsion polymerization and its performance is discussed. The properties of emulsions are characterized by use of DSC,particle size analyzer,FT-IR,tensiometer and TEM.It is found that semi-continuous core-shell polymerization process and proper reactive emulsifier hybrid system will result in excellent styrene/acrylic microsoap-containing emulsion with particle lower than 100 nm.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
