Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical curative effect of Sparfloxacin in the treatment of multi-drug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods 80 MDR-TB patients were randomly divided into two groups. SPLX0.2/qn was used in the treatment group and loxacin 0.2/tid and other anti-TB drugs(TH.Z.PAS etc)were used in the control group. The therapy plans were 3 SpL2ZPTh(E)/9SPL2Th for treatment group and 3OL2ZPTh (E)/9OL2Th for control group respectively. The sputum negative conversion rates,X-ray changing and drug side effect were compared in three and twelve month after treatment, and recurrence rate was observed for 2 years(n=39). Results The sputum negative conversion rates in treatment group was higher than that in control group(75.0% and 45.0%)in 3rd month; Sputum negative conversion rate, focal absorption rate and closure rate of cavities of treatment group in 12th month (90.%,90.0% and 85.0%) were higher than those of control group(70.0%,60.0% and 50.0%)(P0.05). The recurrence rate in treatment group (0%)was lower than that in Control group (20.0%)(P0.05) and no severe adverse reactions were found in two groups. Conclusion There are significant clinical curative effects to cure MDR-TB by SPLX with low dosage, short course of treatment and low recurrence rate.
