The clinical experience of hernia ring filling tension-free hernia repair in the treatment of 122 patients with inguinal hernia

Objective:To summarize the clinical efficacy and early complications of the hernia ring filling tension-free hernia repair.Methods:Central american bard′s hernia mesh patch filling and 122 cases of patients with various types of inguinal hernia with tension-free hernia repair.The surgical methods,time,incision pain,and postoperative recovery of autonomy,complications,the recurrence rate and intraoperative precautions were reviewed.Results:The mean operative time was 46 min;15 cases has postoperative pain,cured by oral analgesics;the time of postoperative ambulation was 8 h averagely;complications in 6 cases,including 4 cases of urinary retention,scrotal hematoma in 2 cases,no wound infection.Patients were followed up 1 to 24 months,the recurrence in 1 case after 5 months.Conclusion:Hernia ring filling tension-free hernia repair accord with anatomic physiology,simple,less invasive,faster reco-very,fewer complications,lower recurrence rate.
