Dyeing behaviors of cationic modified cotton fabric

Cationic modification of cotton fabric was carried out with aminated polyepichlorohydrin,the optimum modification and dyeing process were defined according to single factor and orthogonal experiments,the dyeing results of modified cotton fabric were compared to those of the conventional dyeings.It was said that cotton fabric after cationic modification featured higher reactive dye yield,better brilliance and higher dye utilization,meanwhile,the dyeing effluents could be reused without additional treatment,the dyeing quality was as good as that of dyed with conventional process.
