Abstract
Modification of cotton fabric is carried out with self-made cationic feather keratin WLS-20 followed by salt-free reactive dyeing.The effect of modification process on dyeing results are studied,and the optimum modification process is determined. The results show that cotton fabric modified with WLS-20 features higher color yield and fixation compared with those of conventional dyeing in the presence of salt,and the former has better dyeing results than those with WLS.
