Abstract
Objective:To compare the occurrence of pain and the therapeutic effects of Cortisomol sealer plus gutta percha and Zinc oxide eugenol paste plus gutta percha in root canal filling. Methods:Total 203 patients were randomly divided into the experimental group(Cortisomol sealer group) and the control group. After the general canal prepared, the root canal filling was carried out immediately.Result:The Cortisomol sealer group showed the advantages of a decreased incidence of post-operative pain compared with control group. Conclusion:Cortisomol sealer can greatly reduce the incidence of post-operative pain in the canal obturation and it is worthwhile to be recommended.
