Abstract

The catalyst V-SBA-15 was prepared by impregnation method and with mesoporous molecular sieve SBA-15 as carrier. The process condition of V-SBA-15 catalytically oxidizing styrene to prepare benzaldehyde was studied by using H2O2 as oxidant and acetone as solvent. The results showed that when the loading level of Vanadium was below 15%,the V-SBA-15 still remained the highly ordered two-dimensional hexagonal structure of SBA-15 and have larger specific surface area and pore volume.Under the optimal condition of loading level of Vanadium 10%,n(styrene) ∶ n(hydrogen peroxide)∶ n(acetone) 1 ∶ 3 ∶ 2,reaction temperature 70℃,reaction time 6 h,the conversion of styrene and the selectivity and yield of benzaldehyde were 65.62%,81.21% and 53.29% respectively.
