Abstract

The catalytic properties of mesoporous molecular sieves Nb-SBA-15 catalytic oxidation of styrene to benzaldehyde were studied.Nb-SBA-15 had been characterized by XRD and BET.The results showed that with the increase of Nb loading, the intensity of characteristic peaks gradually weakened, but still retained high ordered of SBA-15's two-dimensional hexagonal mesoporous structure.During the reaction,H2O2 and acetone separately played as oxidant and solvent, and the optimum conditions were as follows: the reaction temperature is 70 ℃,the reaction time is 8 h,the amount of catalyst for the raw material is 10.0%,n(styrene)∶ n(hydrogen peroxide)∶ n(acetone) = 1∶2∶2.After investigation the conversion of styrene was up to 46.65%,the selectivity of benzaldehyde was up to 98.87%.
