China during the Late Qing Dynasty and World Expo

The World Expositions(The World Expoes) are expositions held by capitalist countries with the purpose of displaying national strengths and spreading its impacts.During the late Qing Dynasty,both government and non-government organizations have participated in all the World Expoes.However,limited by historical circumstances,some uniqueness has been shown in the World Expoes during that period such as the long-time control by customs,poor management,big cost and little gain etc.But at last this has contributed to the economic and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.The world situation has been realized by Chinese and experiences have been gathered for the Expoes held in China.
