Clinical Study on the Treatment of Hyperlipidemia Patients with Phlegm-dampness Retention by Xuezhikang Capsules

Abstract

Objective: To study the clinical efficacy and adverse reaction of Xuezhikang capsules on the treatment of hyperlipidemia patients with phlegm-dampness retention.Methods: 45 patients were divided into one treatment control and one control group randomly and double-blindly.30 patients in the treatment group were treated with Xuezhikang capsules while 15 patients in the control group were treated with placebo.8 weeks was a course of treatment.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared after the treatment.Results: The comparison of the serum lipid efficacy,the scores of TCM symptom and the traditional Chinese medicine syndromes of the two groups showed a significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion: Xuezhikang capsules have effect on the treatment of the hyperlipidemia patients,improve their clinical symptoms and are safe and effective cholesterol lowering agents.
