Therapeutic evaluation of atorvastatin and Xuezhikang in hyperlipemia

Abstract

Objective To compare the curative effect of atorvastatin and Xuezhikang in hyperlipemia.Methods Sixty patients with hyperlipemia were divided into two groups in random.Thirty patients(male 14,female 16) with age of (62±12) took Xuezhikang.The dosage of Xuezhikang was 0.9g,twice in everyday.Thirty patients(male 14,female 16) with age of (63±11) took atorvastetin.The dosage of atorvastatin was 10mg,once in everyday.The course of treatment in both 2 groups lasted 4 weeks.Results Of 60 patients,TC,TG and LDL-C decreased,and HDL-C increased.The difference between two groups had no evident significance.Conclusion Atorvastatin is similar in curative effect and safety to Xuezhikang.
