Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of Azithromyci for the treatment of children with mycoplasmal pneumonia. Methods 172 children with mycoplasmal pneumonia were randomly divided into treatment group(86 cases) and Erythrocin group(86 cases).Treatment group were given Azithromycin and control group were given Erythromycin after general treatment and symptomatic treatment. The rate of clinical effect, clinical symptom extinction time, length of stay, and drug adverse reaction were compared between two groups. Results Clinical effective rate of Azithromycin group(93.02%) was significantly higher than that of Erythrocin group(81.40%)(χ2=5.212,P=0.022).Time of body temperature returned to common, cough regression, and hospital day in Azithromycin group were significantly lower than that of Erythromycin group(P0.05).The incident rates of gastrointestinal reaction and local pain were lower in Azithromycin group than that of in Erythrocin group(P0.05).Conclusion Clinical effect of treatment with Azithromycin for children with mycoplasmal pneumonia is good, and it has quickly, high performance and drug adverse reaction is safety, and merits to compliance.
