Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical therapeutic effect of azithromyci for treatment of children with mycoplasmal pneumonia(MP).Methods Forty-two children with MP were divided into azithromycin group(n=27) and erythrocin group(n=15),the clinical effective rate,clinical symptom extinction time,length of stay and drug adverse reaction were compared between two groups.Results The clinical effective rate of azithromycin group(92.3%) was higher than this of erythrocin group(66.7%,χ2=7.059,P0.05).The time of body temperature returned to common,cough regression and hospital day in azithromycin group were all less than the erythromycin groups′(P0.05).The incidence rates of gastrointestinal reaction and local pain were lower in azithromycin group than these in erythrocin group(P0.05).Conclusion It have quickly,high-performance and convenient merits that MP were treated with azithromycin,and have good compliance for children.
