Clinical Observation on the Treatment of Adefovir Dipivoxil on Chronic Hepatitis B

Abstract
Objective Clinical observation on Adefovir dipivoxil on treating Chronic Hepatitis B and its curative effect in the near future. Method 20 patients with chronic hepatitis B were treated with Adefovir dipivoxil as the therapy group and 12 patients with chronic hepatitis B were treated with general liver drugs as the control group, every group observe for 24 months and estimate its curative effect on Chronic Hepatitis B. Result The functions of liver improved remarkably in the therapy group and have significant differences compared with the control group(P0.05) while the control group have no signif icant changes(P0.01);4 patients' serum appeared conversion of HBeAb in the therapy group while the control group had no one. Conclusion Adefovir dipivoxil can restrain the copy of HBV DNA in the patients with chronic hepatitis B effectively, HBeAg negative rate, HBeAg serum conversion rate and ALT recovery rate were improved remarkably, improved the functions of liver efficiently and safe.
