Abstract

Objective To analyze the variance of mycoplasma infecting in genitourinary tract and the resistance characteristics in order to provide the data of epidemiology and instruct reasonable application of antibiotics. Methods The secretion specimen collected from patients with the non-gonoccocal urethritis was tested with the method of incubating and drug susceptibility. Results The ages distribution of the patients with mycoplasma infection concentrated on 20~40 year-old people. The amounts of the female patients were greater than the male.In 2003,the positive rate of mycoplasma was 47.42%,in which the rates of ureaplasma urealyticum, macoplasma hominics, ureaplasma urealyticum+macoplasma hominics were 43.16%,1.67%,2.58% respectively. In 2004,the positive rate of mycoplasma was 52.16% in which the rates of ureaplasma urealyticum, macoplasma hominics, ureaplasma urealyticum+macoplasma hominics were 43.06%,2.45%,6.65% respectively. It was suggested that the resistance of ureaplasma urealyticum to the quinolones and azithromycin was greater in 2004 than in 2003,but to the tetracyeline, there was no evidence variance. Conclusion Mycoplasma(especially ureaplasma urealyticum) is the main pathogen of nongonoccocal urethritis. There are greater changes of ureaplasma urealyticum susceptibility to antibiotics in 2004 than in 2003 .It's urgent to strengthen the reasonable use of drug to avoid the drug-resistance mycoplasma individual.
