Analysis on the Drug Resistance of Mycoplasma in Patients with Urogenital Infections During 2010 to 2012

Objective: To grasp infection and the drug resistance condition of mycoplasma in patients with urogenital infections and to find basis for clinical treatment.Methods: a total of 467 patients were enrolled into this study.prostatic fluid was collected in males by prostatic massage and vaginl samples were taken from the endocervial region in women.Mycoplasma was isolated and antimicrobial susceptibility was tested against 12 antibiotics.Results: of all patients,30.8%,1.7% and 9.9% was positive for Ureaplasma urealyticum,Mycoplasma hominis and the mixed infection,respectively.The positive rate of Ureaplasma urealyticum in 2012 was lower than that in 2010 and 2011,but it was not statistically significant.Ureaplasma urealyticum was more susceptible to Josamycin,Minocycline and Doxycycline,and the resistance rate of these antibiotics was stable relatively.quinolones had the highest resistance rate.Mycoplasma hominis was more susceptible to Josamycin,Minocycline.Conclusions: it could be concluded that the positive rate of Ureaplasma urealyticum in patients with urogenital infections is significantly higher than that of Mycoplasma hominis,The positive rate of Ureaplasma urealyticum has a descendent tendency and Josamycin,Minocycline and Doxycycline are still the most potent antibiotics against mycoplasma.
