Abstract
In this paper, the main types of gold ore deposits is studied and three mineralization belt and the exploration indictors for gold deposit exploration are proposed on the bases of geological research in Xichuan-Xixia area.The discovered gold deposits in this area all are hosted in Douling Formation, which means the deposits is controlled by strata notably.The main types of gold deposits include sand gold deposit, quartz vein gold deposit, fracture zone altered tectonite-type gold deposit, and explosion breccia gold deposit, and the latter three types are the focuses for further exploration.
