Abstract
Xichuan-Xixia areas in Henan Province have a good geological conditions formed gold deposits owing to having complex structure, developed fault and multiphase and intense magmatic activities. The author thinks that the Douling Group is source bed of this area which supplied gold ore forming materials by studying geochemical survey and discussing relations among strata, structures, magma and gold mineralization. The gold deposits of quartz vein type and tectonic altered rock type are controlled respectively by NE and NWW second faults, the porphyry explosion breccia type gold deposits are tightly related with the Yanshanian shallow or ultra shallow intrusive (explosive) granite porphyry. On these grounds, the author has suggested three metallogenic prospective provinces.
