Abstract

The recent progress in the synthesis of 1-hydroxypiperazine was reviewed to design the synthesis scheme of 4-ethyl-1-hydroxy-2,3-dioxopiperazine.The effects of the composition raw materials,reaction temperature and reaction time were studied.The optimum reaction conditions were obtained by using orthogonal experimental design.The yield of product was up to 74.38% in the optimum reaction conditions.4-ethyl-1-hydroxy-2,3-dioxopiperazine was analyzed by melting point,IR,and 1H NMR to assure its structure and quality.
