Clinical observation analysis of the relationship between cerebral ischemic stroke and Lipid levels

Abstract

Objective To analyze the relationship between cerebral ischemic stroke and lipid levels though observed the blood lipid levels of patients with cerebral ischemic stroke. Methods 180 patients with cerebral ischemic stroke treated in our hospital from January 2010 to January 2014 as the observation group, 130 patients with non-cerebral ischemic stroke as the control group; the difference of lipid levels of two groups were observed and analyzed, the blood lipid measurements include total cholesterol(TC)、triglyceride(TG)、low density lipoprotein(LDL)、high density lipoproteins(HDL)and TC/HDL ratio. Results Compared with control group, the patients of observation group had dyslipidemia, a significant difference in level of TC(1.54±0.89)mmol/L vs.(1.21±0.52)mmol/L,(P0.01),level of HDL(1.09±0.28)mmol/L vs.(1.24±0.27)mmol/L,(P 0.01),level of LDL(3.01±0.82) mmol/L vs.(2.54±0.80)mmol/L,(P 0.01) and TC/HDL ratio(4.45±1.39)vs.(4.01±1.18),(P 0.01), and no significant difference in level of TC(4.87±0.95) mmol/L vs.(4.71±0.92)mmol/L,(P 0.05); the dyslipidemia rate of observation group was 45.0% and significantly higher than 13.1% in control group(P 0.05). Conclusion Patients with cerebral ischemic stroke have dyslipidemia, patients in hospital need to focus on the level of TG,HDL,LDL-C and TC/HDL ratio, and have lipid adjusting treatment appropriate.
