Abstract

In the last five decades,adult higher education has made positive contributions to the development of higher education in China.Yet in the transitional period of higher education development,adult higher education is facing many problems and challenges.For that reason and also in view of the historical development,status quo and problems,adult higher educatioin in China must be guided by the scientific development perspective.The concept for running schools must be changed with accurate positioning and positive innovation so that adult higher education can make new contributions to the sustainable development of higher education in China.
