Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between the level of blood glucose and the clinic in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods The patients were randomly divided into groups by the blood glucose on empty stomach in hospital on the first day:the group of normal blood glucose, the group A of high blood glucose, the group B of high bood glucose. The score of nervous system defects was evaluated before treatment. On the seventh day and on the fourteenth day after treatment, the relationships beween the blood glucose, age, the score of past diseases, the score of complications and the clinic were studied. Results The higher level of blood glucose with acute cerebral infarction patients, the higher score of complications and nervous system defects, and the less clinical effect. Conclusion The high blood glucose improves the nervous system defects and complications of acute cerebral infarction. The therapy of antiglucose may enhance the clinical effect of acute cerebral infarction, the measure of taking positive precaution against high blood glucose and treating it is one of effective methods in preventing acute cerebral infarction.
