Research on the Strategy of Leading Industry Selection and Development in Lu'an City

Abstract

The selection and development of regional leading industry is of great significance to region economy development.With related data,selecting the baseline of comparative advantages,income elasticity of demand and output growth index,the leading industries of Lu'an was analyzed.The results show: the manufacturing of automobile and parts of automobile,iron ore mining and steel industry,the manufacturing of electromechanical and home appliance,agricultural products processing industry and textile industry as the leading industries of Lu'an City.Some suggestions were put forward in order to develop the leading industries.
