Abstract

Objective To investigate the implementation of the pre-hospital,hospital treatment measures of oral organophosphorus pesticide poisoning and its impact on prognosis.Method Sixty-eight patients with severe oral organophosphate poisoning, the integrated therapy of pre-hospital and hospital clearance of toxicity, the application of specific antidotes, artificial respiration, dehydration and anti-shock were analyzed. Results In 68 patients with severe organophosphate poisoning,9 died, the death rate was 10%;they were died of respiratory failure in 4 cases,2 patients died of shock,2 patients died of cardiac arrest, died of multiple organ failure in 1 case. Some severe patients with non-thoroughly gastric lavage, intimely antidote use, lately respirator use and so on in the treatment process. Conclusion Whether completely get rid of toxicity, antidote dosage control, time of selecting artificial ventilation, the implementation of comprehensive treatment have some significance on the patients′ prognosis.
