Abstract
Language and culture are closely connected so that the person who carries out translation study and practice must understand the two cultures. The cultural difference has made the eastern and western people have different understanding on the same color and use different color words to express the same meaning. As to the common color words in daily life, we should have a good understanding and correct translation from the perspective of Chinese and western cultural difference so as to promote the deeper integration of Chinese and western cultures.
