On Cultural Differences between English and Chinese from Color

Abstract
There area a great number of colors in both Chinese and English.Brought up in different cultures,people hold different feelings and attitudes towards colors.From a comparison between Chinese and western cultures,this paper attempts to analyze and probe into the symbolic meanings of color words in different cultural background.
