Researching Cultural Differences between English and Chinese from Color Words

Color is very close to people's life. It is an important field for people to understand world. Color not only has physics property, but also has rich intension and stretchy meanings. People of different nation often have different feeling about the same color as a result of their different cultural and history background. So color shows differences between different social cultures. Cultural difference about color is discussed between English and Chinese in this article. Through this research, it is much beneficial for us to grasp cultural differences between English and Chinese, and to improve our English level.
