Application of D-dimer measurement in disseminated intravascular coagulation diagnosis and treatment

Objective To explore significance of examining of plasma D-dimer for diagnosis of disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC).Methods Sixty DIC patients and forty healthy people and sixty cases of non-DIC patients were detected for D-dimer by immunonephelometry method.Results The levels of D-dimer in DIC patients were much higher than that of in normal control group and non-DIC patients(P0.01);the levels of D-dimer in 10 DIC patients decreased gradually after being treated.Conclusion Plasma D-dimer is a sensitive index in DIC.Monitoring of D-dimer is benefit for early diagnosis and therapeutic effect overview.
