Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the relationship between the multi-drug resistance and the resistant genes of Neisseria gonorrhoeae.METHODS The drug susceptibilities of 40 strains of N.gonorrhoeae to antibiotics were tested by K-B and agar dilution methods.Total DNA was extracted by boiling methods.Totally 22 strains of N.gonorrhoeae were randomly selected, which were used as the template in PCR to amplify the resistant genes of TEM,tetM,erm and mefA.RESULTS The susceptibilities tests showed that the multi-drug resistance of N.gonorrhoeae was obvious. The detection rates of TEM and tetM were 77.3% and 77.3%,respectively,while erm and mefA were not detected.CONCLUSION It has a close relationship between the multi-drug resistance and the phenotype of resistant genes of N.gonorrhoeae.
