Abstract
Mature embryos of three kinds of Zhou wheat breeds were used as explants to culture in vitro. We studied the effects of genotype and hormones on callus formation and differentiation of mature embryos. The results showed that under certain concentration range of 2,4-D,the three kinds of wheat all show higher callus formation rates, but there are differences among the callus quality. The differentiation ratio of Zhou 18 wheat is higher than the other two kinds,it is affected by the concentration and mixture ratio of hormones. The differentiation ratio of Zhou 18 wheat is higher when cultured in a medium of MS+6-BA 2mg/L+KT 0.5mg/L+NAA 0.5mg/L.
