Abstract

Mature wheat embryos of Overley were used as explants for culture in vitro. The result showed that the optimum medium for callus induction was MS+2,4-D(3.0 mg·L-1),the rate of callus formation was 84.0%.The medium for callus differentiation was MS+KT(2~3 mg·L-1),the differentiation of callus was more than 85%.The wheat plantlets had low differentiation rate and multiplication coefficient in MS+NAA(0.2 mg·L-1)+6-BA(0.5~2.0 mg·L-1),which were 33.3% and 2.05.
