Abstract
Objective:To explore the character and significance of Maspin expression in different breast cancer. Methods:Maxvision immunohistochemical method was used to assess the expression of Maspin in different breast carcinoma. And the relationship between expression of Maspin and that of ER,PR,C-erbB-2,VEGF,MVD,lymph node metastasis in invasion lobular carcinoma, ductal carcinoma was statistically analyzed. Results:Positive expression in ductal carcinoma in stiu, invasive carcinoma of no special type, infiltrating lobular carcinoma was 36.4%,23.5%,9.1% respectively, but no significant statistical difference(P0.05) between groups.Maspin expression was not found in Medullary carcinoma and tubular carcinoma.Maspinpositive cases showed a significant decrease in MVD and/or C-erbB-2 expression(P0.05).Conclusions:Maspin may depend largely on its antiogentic activity to inhibit tumor.
