Experiment of Jiangzhitongmai Decoction on Atherosclerosis Rat

Objective: To explore the possible mechanism of Jiangzhitongmai Decoction on Atherosclerosis.Methods: Male rats were randomly divided into the normal group,model group,and Jiangzhitongmai Decoction high,medium,low dose group,and xuezhikang group.Normal group were fed with Normal diet,ang the other groups were fed with High cholesterol diet for one month.After modeling,normal group model group were given physiological saline by gavage,while the other group were given the corresponding drugs by gavage.Blood fat of rats were mensurated after experiment,and changes of light and electron microscopes of artery walls were observed.Results: All Jiangzhitongmai Decoction dose groups can reduce levels of TC,LDC-C of atherosclerosis rats,and elevate the levels of HDL-C.And the medium,high dose of Jiangzhitongmai Decoction groups showed significant effects,and there no statistical differences compared with xuezhikang group.Conclusion: Jiangzhitongmai Decoction has good effect on experiment atherosclerosis,which can inhibit the formation of atherosclerotic plaque.
