Abstract
PAC, FeCl3 and Al2(SO4)3 are 3 kinds flocculants used in water treatment. In this paper the flocculation effects of the 3 kinds of flocculants on flocculation under different water powder condition were discussed in detail. It was found that the 3 kinds of flocculants had different reaction rate gradient values when they showed the best flocculate effects. Furthermore the influences of reaction time on the flocculation effects were studied. It was found that the flocculation effect would be improved with lengthening reaction time. It was found the PAC had the best flocculation effect in water treatment factory in whole year.
