Abstract
Flocculation of two inorganic flocculants and three organic flocculants was compared, and the best inorganic flocculant and organic flocculant with good flocculation were selected as single kind of flocculant which were separately polymeric aluminum chloride (PAC) and PAM with molecular weight in the range of 800 - 1 000.The effects of mass ratio of compounded flocculants, concentration and temperature on the flocculation rate were examined. The result showed that the flocculation rate was over 94% and flocculation time 16 minutes under the conditions as follows:mass ratio of PAC to PAM 6:1,concentration of compounde flocculants 50 mg/L.The compounded flocculants had good effect under the low or medium temperature (70 ℃.).
