Abstract
Objective To approach the effect of different degrees of obstructive jaundice on the rals post-hepatectomy liver regeneration. Methods Rats model with obstructive jaundice were set up and used in measurement at different time points of the level of jaundice.SO-Hx group,OJ1-Hx group,0J3-Hx group and OJ7-Hx group were divided in accordance with the level of jaundice at 0,1,3,7 days.Rats were received(about 70%of total liver) hepatectomy(Hx),and the rat mortality, serum liver function, immunohistnlogical analysis of PCNA index,HGF mRNA expression in remnant liver tissues and the ratio of the remnant liver hepatic weight against body weight were observed after 0.12,24,48,72,168 h after the operation. Results Compared with OJ_3-Hx group and OJ_7-Hx group after hepatectomy,OJ1-Hx group rals mortality, serum liver function, immunohistological analysis of PCNA index,HGF mRNA expression in remnant liver tissues and the ratio of the remnant liver hepatic weight against body weight were significant difference(P0.05).Conclusions Hyperbilirubinemia caused by biliary obstruction before operation obviously inhibited the post-hepatectomy liver regeneration.Hepatectomy was considered relatively safe al a relatively low level of preoperative bilirubin and short lime obstruction.
