The Essence of the Education Aimed at Enslavement in the Period of Japanese Occupation of Dalian

During its forty year occupation of Dalian, the Japanese government's education was focused on enslavement, which can be seen from its education policy, education administrations, school regulations and disciplines, curriculum design, teacher training, teacher provision, textbook compiling and teaching research activities. The essence is that it wanted to poison the spirit of the Dalian people so that they would lose their national dignity and become the obedient subjects of Mikado.
