Abstract
Japan is the acknowledged educational power in the world.Its success can be found and concluded as follows: emphasis on education of the whole nation,amplification of education law,investment from both government and citizens,development of compulsory education,emphasis on the cultivation of teachers,etc.As an Asian country with similar cultural background,China can learn the experiences and lessons from the Japan's education in order to realize the strategic goal of educational development in the 21st century in China.
