Phacoemulsification and Lntraoclular Lens Lmplantation for Cataract Patients Underwent Filtering Surgery

Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of Phacoemulsification and intraoclular lens implantation through clear corneal incision for cataract patients underwent filtering operation.Methods For 38 cases(38 eyes) of cataract patients with a history of antigiocomarous filtering operation,phacoemulsification and intraoclular lens implantation was performed through clear corneal incision.Intra and after operative complication,vision,intraocular pressure,follicle were observed.Results Following up three to six months,visual acuity was≥0.5 in 13 eyes(34%),0.3-0.5 in 21 eyes(55%),and ≤0.3 in 4 eyes(11%).The pressure was all within normal range(11.23-20.15 mm Hg).The functionality follicle wasn't cicatrisation.Intraocular lens were all implanted into 38 eyes,and no complications like capsular broke,intraocular hemorrhage were observed.Edema of corneal and reaction of iris were the main postoperative complications.Conclusion Intraocular lens implantation through clear corneal incision in glaucomatous eyes was safe and effective.
