Abstract

Carsua Chang was the main proposer of 12 principles in the amendment of the constitution draft as well as the main drafter of the 1946 constitution passed by the 1946 political conference. Comparing with May 5 constitution draft of 1936,the 1946 constitution is a democratic constitution in a degree, and this result was guided by the struggle of the CCP? the Chinese Democratic union and the Chinese people against KMP.
