Abstract

The Constitution of Republic of China in 1946 was drafted by the non KMT personage,when the Political Consultative Conference had been on session and the twelve principles on the amendment of the constitution draft had been passed.It turned out to be quite different from the May Fifth Constitution drafted by the sole party of KMT.The distinctions show that the Constitution of Republic of China had taken on some democratic colour,which was the fruit of the united effort of the Communist Party,the Democratic League and the Chinese people in their fight against the dictatorship of KMT.
