Effects of high dose mucosolvin on acute exacerbation chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical value of high dose mucosolvin on acute exacerbation chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Methods:80 patients of AECOPD were divided into 2 groups randomly, high dose group was treated with a high dose of mucosolvin(270 mg/day), normal dose group were treated with normal dose of mucosolvin(30 mg/day).Measured and compared clinical symptoms,curative effect and the average hospital day between two groups before and after the treatment.Results:There was no significant difference of effective rate between two groups(P0.05).In the high dose group,excellence rate was higher than that of the normal dose group(P0.05), the average hospital day was shorter than that of the normal dose group(P0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of mucosolvin on AECOPD is safety and effective.High dose is more effective.
