Treatment of Diabetes Type II with Integrated TCM and WM,a Report of 60 Cases

Abstract

Sixty cases of diabetes type Ⅱ were treated with the method of invigorating qi,nourishing yin and promoting blood circulation,and 30 cases treated only with WM were set up as the control group.The trerapeutic course was 2 months.Results:In the treatment group,31 cases has significant effect,28 cases effective,1 case ineffective,the total effective rate was 98.33%.In the control group,8 cases had significant effect,15 cases effective,7 cases ineffective,the total effective rate was 76.67%.The difference between the two groups was notable(P0.01).The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving symptoms and blood glucose(FBG,2hBG and HbAIC).
